Laker Airways Pilot Wing
Note that there are two variations of this wing. One is straight across and the other has a curvature to it.

Ft. Lauderdale, Fl 1996-1999

Flights began on April 6, 1996 between Orlando and Manchester, The following month, Laker received a 2 year exemption to operate flights as scheduled service. Fort Lauderdal to London service began July 5th and between Miami and London in March 1997. Scheduled flights were suspended very early in 1998 because of competitive pressures although the airline did continue to fly charters. Later in 1998 the company was sold to Star Air Tours and Laker continued to operate them however, all operations ended by the end of 1999.
